Fun Blocks

Not sure what I was going for here. I just knew I wanted to do blocks. I am happy with the ending.....I had a lot of fun while creating it!!! I think I may have to do this kind of layout again in the near future!!!

FUN

I did this art journal page a while back actually. Have not had enough time to share much lately. I created this page because I feel life as a "grown up" does not permit us to have as much fun as we would like to have!!! So here is wishing and hoping for more fun in my life!!!!

Doubt---Free Your Self

Sometimes I doubt things too much. I doubt growth, development, sucess, and other things. I am trying to learn not to doubt so much!!! I need to learn to stop stressing everything and just learn to enjoy this one life I have!!! Wish me luck on my path of being doubt free!!!!

Negativity

After a very negative day at work...I came home and let all the stress out in my art journal. One person can have a negative outlook and it can soon poison a group. Well negativity is just like poison and it can kill you....it can destroy your hopes, dream, and future. Soooo I choose not to partake in the negativity and I choose to speak positively.....after all I will receive back what I send out. So to all the negative people in the world......I wish you all the best but I will not partake in your misery!!!

A Happy Heart!

I am so blessed to have a happy heart!!! YES life and duties do stress me out, but over all I have a happy heart!! I am blessed in so many ways and one of those many blessings is love. I do have family and friends that truly love me and to have a heart full of love is to have a happy heart. I had to use foil for the one heart simply because it looks shiny and new and a happy heart I am sure shines all the time!!! I also used (lower left) a heart tore from a napkin because a napkin is absorbent and a happy heart absorbs all the love it can receive!!!!

Rocking his last name!!!

My hubby and I were married June 24,2006 and even after all this time and I am soo happy to be his wife. This is where this page came from...my pride of having HIS last name. He is really a great friend, hubby, and father. I am so blessed to have him in my life and sharing my world. I used rub-ons, duct tape, paint, paper, glitter glue, and paint pens on this page.

Work=Stress

This art journal page was actually done during December 2009. I had had a very stressful day at work and it was great to come home and put it all out on paper. Seemed to de-stress me and once I put it all out on paper it actually helped me deal with the situation. I posted this art journal page because I wanted to show that it is good to journal about the lows in life as well as the highs. Looking back I am glad that I did journal this page. I am still learning and growing when it comes to art journaling. The colors of the background are the colors associated with the logo of the company where I work. I hope you all enjoyed!!! Dreaming of a Vacation

With 27 degree weather here on the coast of South Carolina all I can do is dream about a vacation!!! One reason is due to the weather and the other reason is due to life always being so hectic and crazy. We only have one life to live and its said that most of our lives is spent doing what we HAVE to do and not what we want to do!!! I hope once I get classes over with things will slow down. Who knows....regardless I always have my paper crafts to escape to.

2010 Resolutions

The art journal page I did on the first day of January. I usually make a few resolutions and realize I am going to fall short. So this time I set more of a goal rather than just a resolution and that is to enjoy life and Grow Closer to God. I am new to art journaling however I have been scrapbooking and stamping for several years. I guess I am just a paper addict!! LOL:) I am glad to have a husband that supports my addictions!!! Here's to 2010!! I hope to grow closer to God, enjoy life and create often!!! Have a great day!
